Gremshula is a word from the Maltese language that roughly translates in to "small lizard". It has been a part of a larger, more lengthy nickname I've had since I was a child. I've always had an interest in the arts and have always dabbled in various mediums. Painting, graphic design, web design and development, creative writing, and now, photography. I wish to use this to display my photography and have others comment and critique upon it. I hope you enjoy.

Best Nerd Gifts for 2016

As the year draws to an end, 4 days left until Christmas, some of us may not quite have gotten our wish list out of the way. Of course you must have at least ONE nerdy person on your list. Not really in to “nerd culture” but still want to be relevant?

Here’s out Top Best Nerd Gifts for 2016!

google-home-preorderGoogle Home
The newly announced “Google Home” is a big topic for discussion and for your at home needs thanks to our buddies at Google Inc. With a machine white top and replaceable bottom grille that comes in a variety of colors to swap out to match your home decor, all you need to say is Google’s trigger phrase “OK Google” and voila! All your daily tasks, questions and whatever else you may want to say to it is there for those Android lovers on your list.

Logitech G633 Artemis Gaming Headset
Must have all the sounds! OK, so this lovely piece of headset technology is well needed for any game to “h@x t3h n00bz” with any shooter or well, any game where you need to speak to someone online. Going for under $200 with a pretty nifty aesthetic design (this thing lights up!); it comes with 7.1 Dolby surround sound, works with PC, Xbox One AND PS4, and you can mix in another audio source directly into the headset so you can listen to music and play your video games at the same time.

Marvel Comic Pumps
OK. Have a lady in your life (or maybe it’s you?). Loves comics? Shoes? How about both!? Need I say more?

Pixel Heart Heat Changing Mug
We personally own a pair of these and they’re brilliant and not very expensive. You can get them at or in our case, we found them at HMV. For any hot beverage lover on your list, even if they’re not nerdy, would probably love these.

These are just to name a few. A few good sources are Amazon, Think Geek and eBay if you’re on online buyer. Looking for a store? Try Walmart, Hot Topic, HMV, Spenser’s and Mind Games.

Happy holidays!

We’re  back on the Destiny bandwagon for the XBOX ONE. I must say, the expansion has done a lot to make any kind of improvement on the prior game play. You get new skill sets, a few other terminologies have been changed and dingle-bot isn’t around any more but it’s still enjoyable. Rumour has it that the original composer for Destiny got the book from Bungie since he complained about lack of pay and they basically “Oh well, off you go!” and got someone else to do it.

The Father of Crota, Oryx is a pretty bad-ass motherf*cker too! If you haven’t played Destiny before perhaps is now the time to change your attitude? I highly recommend this bad boy to XBox One players and even PC players.
